This ideal tour combines both the natural beauty of the south near Selfoss and the cultural heritage of Iceland, including social life and beliefs in elves, ghosts and trolls.
We travel towards Stokkseyri, a small village well known for its rich stories of ghosts and elves. There, we visit Icelandic Wonders, a center dedicated to Icelandic elves, trolls, hidden people and the Northern Lights. We then proceed to the Ghost Center, featuring an exhibition of most of Iceland’s well-known ghosts.
The next stop is the nearby village of Eyrarbakki, where we take a short walk through this 19th century typical fishing village that reminds us of a living museum. We visit an Icelandic farm in the area; a good opportunity to experience life on a typical modern Icelandic farm and enjoy Icelandic hospitality.
