Where the Continents Meet: Reykjanes Peninsula
This tour explores the otherworldly Reykjanes Peninsula, stopping at some of the most intriguing points in the area. We travel first to the geothermally active Krisuvík where we stop to look at hot springs and boiling mud pots. Then its on to Grindavík, a typical fishing village where we visit the Saltfish Museum.
This interesting museum gives visitors a good overview of the salt fish industry, that was for several centuries the backbone of the Icelandic economy. (Entrance is not included in the price)
