First electric bus in Iceland

GTS has purchased the first electric bus in Iceland and thereby taken an important step towards an eco-friendly future. The bus is already in use and will be based in Reykjavík for the time being. The bus has a range of 320 km with one charge. It´s a so-called city bus based on a Swedish concept, with three point seat belts and 32 seats. It was bought from Yutong Eurobus in China. Yutong is the biggest bus manufacturer in the world. Besides being eco-friendly, the bus is quiet, consumes very little energy and is an excellent addition to our fleet.
